Much Of Upper Midwest Gets Slammed With Snow: 15 Inches In Some Areas; State Of Emergency In Wisconsin

Yeah, for the first actual snow storm of the year, we got dumped on. In my area, I believe we got just over 10 inches. All the schools in this area (including both colleges) were closed yesterday. That rarely happens. Places of business were shut down yesterday, including mine :) It was nice having an extra vacation day :)

Welp, within a few hours (hopefully), we’ll soon get to battle Arthas Menethil, former Crown Prince of Lordaeron and Knight of the Silver Hand turned Lich King, alongside either Jaina Proudmoore (Alliance) or Sylvanas Windrunner (Horde) in the 5-man Icecrown Citadel instance.

It’s going to be utterly mind blowingly epic!

You can blame Hollywood’s doom and gloom on the Oscars, but I’m not going to. Instead, I think it’s George W. Bush’s fault. Most liberal directors felt restless under his presidency, and they pushed the envelope with over-the-top, operatic tragedies.

Something even funnier? This is not a satirical piece. Newsweek’s Ramin Setoodeh is very much serious about this absurd assertion.

Obama is president now so happy-sunshiny, unicorn-flyin’ movies should be the norm now, right? Two wars abroad! Double-digit unemployment! Yeah!

This can’t possibly be serious. Oh, wait…is the fact that this article is serious and not satirical Bush’s fault too?

EDIT: I just read more of the article and did he really just blame the darker Harry Potter and Twilight sequels on Bush?
